The Museum is located on the 2nd floor at Madison Dry Goods Company. The museum will enlighten those which enjoys history. The museum is representative of the earliest occupants of this Historic Building (1908) including: Penn Hardware 1908, Hotel Sterling 1908, and T.B. Knight Funeral Chapel and Services 1920 -1939. Come see the rooms displayed as they were in those Early Days. Other points of interest are artifacts from Madison, surrounding communities and Rockingham County.  One of our own cherished displays is the Nat Picket (1871-1929) Personal Home Library Books. Take a step back in time and visit the museum at the Madison Dry Goods Company. The museum is currently open Friday and Saturday only. See our Group Tours section for special group tours. Did we mention that we don't charge for the tour. Another great reason to come by!
